Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons raw cacao
- handful of almonds
- handful of cranberries/raisins
- shredded coconut for sprinkling
- sea salt
Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Melt coconut and raw honey in a double boiler, or if you don’t have one just mix in a glass (heat resistant) bowl over boiling water. Stir over heat until melted and incorporated. Remove from heat and whisk in the raw cacao. If the sauce seems too thin at more cacao. Once fully incorporated, use a spoon to dollop a small amount of the chocolate sauce onto the paper. Use the bottom of your spoon to flatten the chocolate. Top with a few almonds/cranberries each, sprinkle shredded coconut over the top, and then sprinkle with sea salt. Continue this process until you run out of chocolate. Place the bites in the freezer for about an hour. When you remove from the freezer they will easily peel from the parchment paper. Place them back into the freezer for storage.
