Vibrant Vegan Co—a UK-based plant food subscription is on the hunt for its “Director of Taste”. The right candidate will be paid a salary of £50,000 ($66,000), with all travel, accommodation, and food expenses covered, as well as 28 days of annual leave.
The chosen candidate will have to focus on plant-based ingredients, travel around countries like India, China, Turkey, Chile, Mexico, and Japan, and discover new ingredients that the company can incorporate into its products. Working a 35-hour week, the candidate will also be expected to help set up overseas partnerships to source the new ingredients they find.
Iain Burke-Hamilton, founder of Vibrant Vegan Co. spoke at length about this unique role with Insider UK:
“There are hundreds of ingredients and recipes across the world that haven’t been presented to the UK consumer, so we hope our new recruit will be able to inspire some new and tasty recipes for our vegan ready meal offering.”
